The Beginning

Trinity Search & Recovery is a non-profit California corporation (currently in the process of obtaining 501(c)3 tax-exempt status).

In 2005, Mike & Bridget Melson participated as volunteers in a missing person search. During that search they saw first hand the postive impact a volunteer organization can have on the families & friends of missing persons.

A few months later, they were asked to organize and lead a search for another family. After much prayer and discussion they decided to continue these efforts in a more formal way and founded Trinity Search & Recovery, Inc. 

TSAR has been helping families of missing persons ever since. Mike & Bridget passionately believe "that no one should be lost forever". TSAR is entirely funded by donations and the services provided are ALWAYS at no cost to the family or law enforcement.

Mike & Bridget currently reside in Temecula, CA where they are raising their three small children. They are actively involved with their local church and view TSAR as a way to share God's love - through action - with people who are dealing with one of the most difficult events imaginable - a missing loved one. They feel that God has His hand in each & every case in which they are involved.

When TSAR is contacted about a case (by the family, through other Search and Recovery organizations, etc.) AND are asked to do so, the following services can be provided FREE of charge:

• Complete Search Planning, Management & Logistics
• Volunteer Ground Searches
• Aerial Searches
• Hi-Resolution Digital Aerial Imagery
• Water Searches
• Expert Cell Phone Data Analysis
• Counseling services
• Media coordination
• Coordination with other non-profit agencies (e.g. to arrange larger rewards, additional resources, resources in other states, etc)
• Coordination with Law Enforcement
